About Us
Bradwell Bowls Club, born of an idea, dreamed up on a whim that became reality.
In 1976, a group of like minded individuals with a single vision embarked on a venture. Their goal, to create a bowls club.
With land leased from the Parish Council, they set about their task.
It was hard, they begged and borrowed, a second hand site hut was swung over by crane to make their clubhouse, old equipment was donated by other clubs, until at last, late in 1977 the first wood was delivered in a friendly against Buckingham West End.
In 1978 they became affiliated to what is now Bucks Bowls - and Bradwell Bowls Club was officially born.
